Since 2005 – a Partnership with the Verizon Foundation
In 2005, Net Literacy was contacted by the Verizon Foundation. The Foundation provided us $25,000 towards sustainability and $25,000 to begin deploying Computer Connects, Senior Connects, and Community Connects programs throughout the State.

During the next five years, the Verizon Foundation – Net Literacy partnership helped build computer labs in community centers, apartment complexes, and other nonprofits throughout the State and increased broadband availability to 10,000s of individuals.

Net Literacy’s student volunteers are grateful for Verizon’s support and advocacy of youth empowerment, digital inclusion and digital literacy.
