Net Literacy is the sole owner of the information it gathers on its site. We will only share your information with outside parties in ways that are described in this privacy statement or if we are required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, or comply with a legal process served on our website. As an example, the Digital Literacy website links to other websites and we are not responsible for the information contained on those websites. We display information that we receive from other organizations, but we cannot warrant nor represent the accuracy of the information.

What Information is Collected and How it is Used?
Best Practice Submissions
We collect contact information such as name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and all other information submitted in your best practices submission and may post the best practice and all information in the Digital Literacy or AI Literacy sections of the Net Literacy website.
Contact Us
We may use email links located on the site to allow you to contact us directly with any questions or comments you may have. We read every message sent and try to reply promptly to everyone. This information is used to respond directly to your questions or comments. We may also file your comments to improve the site and program, or review and discard the information. Your personal information is only shared with third parties with your explicit permission or if required as a matter of law or judicial proceeding.
Logged Files and Cookies
The Net Literacy website logs IP addresses and browser types for systems administration purposes. These logs will be analyzed to improve the value of the materials available on the website. A user’s session will be tracked, but the user will be anonymous. We do not link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information. This website does not use cookies at this time.
Third Party Service Providers
We contract with a third party to assist us in managing certain functions on our website, such as hosting our website. We only provide third party service providers with the information necessary to carry out their service. Your information is only accessible to those Net Literacy volunteers who need it in order to perform their jobs. However, most of the information placed on this website is to promote digital inclusion information and there will likely be very little, if any, confidential information that we receive.

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection through this website, we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.
